Top: Trina Turk (found at Nordstrom Rack) / Pants: Nordstrom / Sandals: Vince (similar) / Clutch: Rebecca Minkoff (great selection over here) / Shades: Gucci / Bracelets: J.Crew (on sale)

When in doubt, I always go with black and white—yin and yang so-to-speak. I also tend to reach for these colors when I’m feeling a little unmotivated (check) or tired (check)— also known as the post work weekend hangover. Blah.
I found this beautiful Trina Turk top at Nordstrom Rack and it’s such a staple. The split neck is awesome because you can wear it fastened closed (as above) or open depending on how you feel that day. The leather collar is an added bonus and great for Fall too. And I’m wearing my white trousers again. It’s actually comical how many times I’ve worn them this summer—you have to try them on.
There you have it. Keeping it minimal and uncomplicated for this Monday morning.

  3. Minimal and uncomplicated at its finest! Question re: trousers. What are your thoughts on petite gals and wide legged pants? I worry they'll swallow me but you've got me reconsidering!
    Thanks, Becky!
